IN-DEPTH: Link A doctor long exiled to America from Japan. Born half-Japanese and half-American anyway, her life has not been exactly easy, but it was make infinitely harder with traditional superstitions and an ability known as the 'Healing Touch'. Ironic, considering if they kept her around long enough when she started speaking with the recently deceased, then their concerns might hold a little more water. Oh well, such is the life of an ex-surgeon, ex-bioterrorist, and current medical examiner. PERSONALITY Naomi is cool, collected, and has a sharp-tongue when necessary. Having been in the medical field for so long, being betrayed, watching bodies get broken down by super viruses, and then being around corpses all day has mostly seem to desensitize her to most events people would consider horrific. She's even shot someone (non-lethally) herself with little thought about consequence, going on to threaten killing them if they took further actions against her. In several of her cases, she's expressed sympathy to the deceased, often directs anger at herself, and rarely shows panic. However, in moments where someone else gets hurt in her place, she becomes vindictive such as with Alyssa, a little girl whose caught in an explosion meant to kill Naomi herself. After the game's events, Naomi adopts Alyssa and is cured of her genetic illness. However, she is still trying to come to terms with getting to live after everything and learning how to be a better mother. QUIRK IN-DEPTH: When one makes a wish, normally Naomi doesn't actually have to grant it given what must be exchanged. However, if the wisher's heart truly desires it to be granted, than Naomi must. ABILITIES WEAPON: Potions, Poisons, Handguns (if available), Stingers (underwater), Knives, Needles STYLE: Magical Support Naomi's a doctor first and foremost. She's here for healing first before fighting; however, should the situation arise, she's tactical, using whatever is presently available in order to defend herself. Her Essence-granted Divination has the potential to protect her from ambushes and attacks should she pay attention to the signs, and she can concoct potent poisons, paralytics, sedatives, acids, etc. alongside her healing potions, cleansers, strengthening tonics, and so on. She has the knowledge and ability to handle and use guns, knives, and syringes on land while her merform has several stingers to halt attackers under the sea. Wish Granting
- Can grant any wish (Just not game breaking ones)
Potion Craft + Knowledge of Flora and Fauna
- Can craft potions of a basic quality. Some Flora and Fauna requires study
- Little Mermaid: Increased efficiency. Only really unknown ingredients require study
- Midsummer: Increased potency to potions and lower brewing times. Proficient knowledge in common Flora and Fauna reduces amount required.
- Alice: The amount of ingredients required to concoct potions is reduced by a third.
- Frankenhyde: Can grow a few common herbs herself with the right material
Shapeshifting
- Can turn into various small/medium fish and birds
- Little Mermaid: Can now become large fish and small sea mammals
- Midsummer: Can now become any sea creature, large sea mammals, and small land mammals
- Alice: Can take the form of medium land mammals and small reptiles
- Frankenhyde: Can take the form of large land mammals and medium reptiles
Telekinetic Communication (Little Mermaid)
- Speak mentally with sea life
- Midsummer: Speak mentally with birds and control sea life to aid her
- Alice: Can mentally speak to mammals
- Frankenhyde: Can reach out to other characters for a distance
Medium/Communing with the Dead (Little Mermaid)
- Can hear the whispers of the deceased
- Midsummer: Can see and interact with the deceased
- Alice: Can physically touch the deceased
- Frankenhyde: Can temporarily make deceased more visible to others
Invisibility (Midsummer)
- Can only use in merform; shifts pigments to become invisible.
- Alice: Can't be discovered through thermal methods when invisible.
- Frankenhyde: Can turn invisible on land, but makes her require water sooner
Hypnosis (Midsummer)
- Can only use in merform; uses bioluminescence in body to hypnotize and control for up to five minutes.
- Alice: Hypnotic control can last for ten minutes.
- Frankenhyde: Hypnotic control can last for twenty minutes
Cold Resistance (Alice)
- The cold didn't bother her before, but it really doesn't now.
- Frankenhyde: Scalding doesn't occur
Pressure Resistance (Alice)
- Crushing water depths have no affect Naomi
- Frankenhyde: Gravitational depths can't force her along either
Weather Manipulation (Frankenhyde)
- Has limital control on the weather around her... like, literally around her.
Water Manipulation (Frankenhyde)
- Can manipulate water if it's present in liquid form. From the air does not count.
