Please provide feedback on Naomi if anything is wrong or needs fixing here and there... or if you just want to say hi and can't contact me elsewhere for some reason...
Hello, I would like to bring to you some concerns regarding Naomi and the amount of information she knows. While I know you are trying to play a smart character, I believe you are using OOC information that Naomi couldn't possibly know about and am bringing it to your attention in hopes that you can fix this in the future.
There's no shame in having a smart character admit that they don't know everything that's happening, and indeed that would be preferable to using out of character information in an in character manner. I hope you keep this in mind in the future.
Sorry if it seems that way, but for one, Naomi did have a log with a hefty turn up of people which she cataloged their different traits for later use and even went through the pamphlets the citizens were handing out. Though for some of the monsters, I can see how some of it can seem infomodding.
For the fourth god being released, the fact they're out and things haven't exactly gone south, it's a guess on her part.
As for the revival stuff, three people, yeah, its still a theory. And it's been on the network. She's confident and they've all said they're back, but it's something to test as she's stated several times. Still, you have to die for that to be tested and no one wants to really do that... I'm willing to plot that.
Anyway, as this all reasonably does come across as infomodding, I'll tone it down. Maybe say more 'in theory' or ask for more details about transformations such as she did in concerns to Gon and Killua.
I appreciate the reply. Asking for more details about transformations would be ideal, or even having her be incorrect about the monster if it's a shared trait between monsters from time to time.
Hey, I was looking at the game again and checking through your monster guide and noticed this here: When human, Weres retain their animal ears, fur across various parts of their body, claws, padded feet, and yellow eyes.
This could probably use some correcting, as that's not something shared between weres and she'd know it from knowing Sasuke when I was there. He was fully human during the day. That other stuff was part of his usual transformed state, with the full monster fox-thing only being on the full moon. Having wolf parts during the day is an option thing and varies between players.
Sorry to pop up just to say this, lol. I know the person above was just asking for her to be wrong about some things, but this would be something she's aware of.
OH GOSH, you scared me with this. Ah, this could've been PM'd instead, but it's all good.
Nah, she knows some information isn't correct. It isn't as though she's met all the Weres in Ryslig. The guides are more to become 'this can happen, but it may not'; however, her pool of reference is small, some information has to come from observing people as she walks by, and the number of monsters constantly rotating that she can't say what is 100% and what wouldn't be.
You're right, I should have PMed it. Sorry. You can delete all this if you want. It's no big. I was more worried about players getting confused, but they should know to use the actual FAQ anyway.
Nah, it's all good. Maybe I should make a post for random questions since she does usually record information for people... but yes, I'll make a link to the actual Bestiary in the post so it's like 'This is not the official Bestiary, just the IC notes by one character still lacking on details' or something.

A few examples of this that I mean are the following: correctly guessing what a character is from vague traits more than once, stating that no one dies permanently and people come back in the fog despite the fact that there hadn't been enough time to say that this happense, and very few characters had announced their coming back to life over the network at the time the comment was posted.
An incredibly pressing example of your infomodding is Naomi stating that the fourth god was freed despite none of the characters involved publicly announcing this fact.
There's no shame in having a smart character admit that they don't know everything that's happening, and indeed that would be preferable to using out of character information in an in character manner. I hope you keep this in mind in the future.
