[There is the kitchen in the next room. Doesn't look like Hyde got that far before passing out on the couch thankfully. There is aforementioned naan bread on a counter - not that Kazuma would remember Naomi offering before maybe.]
[The memory sadly isn't there, but he'll scarf down that offering regardless once he spots it. It's a start, but not enough. He forces himself off the couch, looking around for Naomi. He could see an outline of a stove in the room next door, a kitchen? Was it...really okay for him to wander around like this?]
How much? [He calls out while taking some steps towards the kitchen.]
For the damage. [He could smell the spices from that curry before coming into the kitchen. He's practically salivating, but manages to stop himself to think. He's already eaten the naan bread, it's enough for him to find the nearest cafe or market and grab something himself rather than take more from Naomi.
So he turns his back to the kitchen, wandering around the place to locate Naomi as his stomach cries sadly. It's a good chance to survey what Hyde has done that Naomi hasn't cleaned up yet as well.]
Nothing more than what was already damaged by Erasers.
[She could be found at her front desk, working to replace what had been previously broken on temporary shelves, hoping the bottles didn't just roll off. How soon will the carpenter be available again? Ugh...] Did you eat Kazuma?
I ate the bread. [He wanders into the main area, spotting Naomi at the front desk.] I'll pay you for the damage once I get home. We can discuss things then. [He bows his head.]
Sorry for the trouble. [His stomach gurgles feebly. That bread was not enough, good sir.]
Just the bread? I left the curry so you could re-heat it. [Maybe he didn't go into the kitchen? She doesn't know.] Cover a few broken bottles and we'll call it even.
It's fine. After everything, his response is not a surprise.
It's fine, Kazuma. Hyde's not the first person that's attempted something and I doubt he'll be the last. Eat what you need, worry about everything else after.
. . . [There's a bit of reluctance as he doesn't move right away. It doesn't sit well with him, eventhough she had a point. After a quiet sigh, he'll give in to his hunger and wander back towards the kitchen. There's silence for a while, with only the smell of curry spreading into the other rooms.
He waste no time digging into that curry once it was warmed up, along with some more naan bread he found. This could be the worse curry, and he'd still eat it. With a much fuller stomach, he felt more like himself again. He'll scoop himself another plateful before taking it with him so he could go and speak to Naomi some more.] What did you mean, "after everything"?
[She does smell the curry eventually and is pleased by that. Fortunately for him, she knows how to make curry and naan - of all the things she picked up while in India.]
[She has a good amount of stock precariously on display when he finishes eating and turns when he speaks.]
I'm not sure how conscious you were, but the whole ordeal with the Story Eater?
Barely. [He takes a seat in an available chair.] I was asleep, and couldn't regain control until it was all over...but I remember feeling all this anger from Hyde. [He didn't understand why at the time, and his voice didn't even reach him in his rage. Was it related to what happened here?]
Well, he encountered someone from my past... and then suffered what could best be described as torture. He couldn't very well die given his abilities, but his 'body' was ravaged from the inside over and over.
[He stiffens, unable to remove what he was imagining from her description. To be in constant pain, unable to make it stop. He frowns, serves him right. He probably went into it recklessly and paid for it. So did others though, because of his own mess up.]
...Of course he would. [Shut up. I just wasn't watching where I was stepping. He tilts his head. Already awake...but he doubts Hyde can do anything but be obnoxious. Are you sure about that~?
He moves to stand, picking up his now empty plate.] Thank you for filling me in, and for the food.

I'm surprised you didn't get seriously injured.

[But just to people named Hyde.]

Your potion is helping. Even if there doesn't seem to be any clear results, it's giving me some footing.
