He wouldn't have felt it anyway. Given the condition of his body, he no longer experienced pain.
... I did. The circumstances around it, I'd have to be a saint to not hold a grudge. Fortunately, my anger's been tempered and is only at a few specific people now; not that I intend to enact any revenge at this point. If anything, the fact I'm alive and thriving haunts them.
Ugh...what a troublesome bastard. [There wouldn't be any excitement taking that guy out, only more frustration. He's starting to get some feeling from the muscles in his legs, so he decides to try and take a small step. Eventually, he manages to remain standing upright without the support of the wall, but one push might still get him to stumble.]
So it was just a couple of guys that pissed you off enough to hate all of humanity? What if they show up here? What then?
Indeed. [Normally, she'd consider helping someone stumbling about, but it's still Hyde.]
They shouldn't. It was the Japanese Medical Board that started all of that by deciding to take my license and deport me. But in the brief time I worked with the European branch of Caduceus International, I may have mentioned a few things to the Japanese branch and left them to it.
[He hums quietly.] Letting others do your dirty work, and living to be a constant reminder. Despite how calm you appear, you can be savage when crossed.
[He stands at his full height, easily towering over her as he takes a few more steps. He's pushing stuff out of his way, without any care that he's destroying more things.]
And then you went and grew a heart. Why the change?
[She shrugs back his way. Finishing up her mopping, she looks into the water bucket. Yeah, she needs to figure out what to do with this.]
Well, as it turns out, if you work with a disease meant to destroy humanity, there's going to be some side effects possibly down to the genetic level which could become terminal. Lucky, right?
Eh? You're saying the side effects caused the change of heart? [He's just watching her clean now. Wait, she's been cleaning and he's only just registering that. He glances at the bucket full of mixed liquids now.
Seriously? [He sounded like he was about to laugh.] That's some cruel irony.
[Aw, she took the bucket. Well then, he'll just stalk after her, creeping up behind her. If one couldn't notice that looming shadow, his stomach will betray his presence. Wonder how jellyfish taste?]
Huh? [Where did she-! He turns, eventually spotting her at the front desk now.]
Who said I was looking for your help? [He says, but he's starting to feel a little lightheaded.] I don't need you. [Rather than be the smart guy and ask for food, or even just leave, he smashes through a door and wanders into a different room. His only interest is destroying anything and everything, or perhaps it was just a distraction to him.
The rampaging doesn't last very long though, as things soon goes quiet. He had sprawled out partially on the floor and onto the sofa, as if he was in the process of getting there until his body told him enough was enough.]
[She watches him totter off, smashing his way into a room that's largely empty. She's fortunate to have her bedroom inaccessible for the most part. Doesn't mean there wasn't a living/full consultation room.]
[When things are quiet, she peeks into the room.]
... Ready to try eating now? [Is this how it is to deal with a toddler because it feels like it.]
[That is his only option now, slumped over uninvited like a drunk bastard. Hyde's conscious will eventually relinquish it's hold on Kazuma, leaving him to deal with the damage once he's awake. He stays asleep for quite some time until the cold and starvation becomes too much.]
Achoo! [A sneeze sounds the alarm that he has finally woken up, shivering from the cold and feeling something equivalent to being hung over.] Ugh... [He doesn't need to guess, he can already tell he's not where he should, that Hyde was out and about again.]
Mm. [There are so many things he needed to ask, but his stomach demanded attention right now. He moves his hand, feeling the sofa beside him and crawls onto it. Still trying to get his bearings, he looks around to see if there was something edible near him first.]
[There is the kitchen in the next room. Doesn't look like Hyde got that far before passing out on the couch thankfully. There is aforementioned naan bread on a counter - not that Kazuma would remember Naomi offering before maybe.]
[The memory sadly isn't there, but he'll scarf down that offering regardless once he spots it. It's a start, but not enough. He forces himself off the couch, looking around for Naomi. He could see an outline of a stove in the room next door, a kitchen? Was it...really okay for him to wander around like this?]
How much? [He calls out while taking some steps towards the kitchen.]
For the damage. [He could smell the spices from that curry before coming into the kitchen. He's practically salivating, but manages to stop himself to think. He's already eaten the naan bread, it's enough for him to find the nearest cafe or market and grab something himself rather than take more from Naomi.
So he turns his back to the kitchen, wandering around the place to locate Naomi as his stomach cries sadly. It's a good chance to survey what Hyde has done that Naomi hasn't cleaned up yet as well.]
Nothing more than what was already damaged by Erasers.
[She could be found at her front desk, working to replace what had been previously broken on temporary shelves, hoping the bottles didn't just roll off. How soon will the carpenter be available again? Ugh...] Did you eat Kazuma?
I ate the bread. [He wanders into the main area, spotting Naomi at the front desk.] I'll pay you for the damage once I get home. We can discuss things then. [He bows his head.]
Sorry for the trouble. [His stomach gurgles feebly. That bread was not enough, good sir.]

And you used to want the same thing huh? Destroy humanity and all that.

......
It be a shame if someone knocked that over.]

[If he knocks it over, he's just going to repeat an earlier incident with added side effects.]
[Too bad she's moving the bucket into storage with the mop for later disposal.]

[Door closed, she shifts into an otter and slides between his legs over to her front desk, changing back to her normal form.]
Anything I can actually help you with, Hyde?

Evening. Which half is controlling right now?

Kazuma. [He manages to mutter a word.]

Since it's you, you should get something to eat.
